Entries are now open and will close at 11:59pm (EST) on 31 December 2026. There is plenty of time to organise your creative idea and team to support, if needed.
The Competition is open to professional stylists located in the United States and to their salon teams. However, entrants must be the age of majority in their state of residence.
Feature The Foundation Transformation, it could be a video showcasing the process, in a style of a “before and after” content. Whatever shape it takes, it should show a hair transformation using The Foundation as a hero, and any relevant Mr. Smith products you may need to achieve the look. Then, share as Instagram Reel or a TikTok video, tag and follow @mrsmithhair, tag your salon and including the official campaign hashtag #MrSmithTheFoundationNYFW, so we can easily find your submission.
You can enter multiple times, however, you will only be eligible to receive the complimentary The Foundation 200mL once.
One winning salon representative and one guest will receive: Return flights to New York City, Accommodation for two, Two tickets to a New York Fashion Week show, total of $500 spending money. Total Prize is valued at approximately $3,500. Complimentary Gift: Every eligible artist’s handle will receive a complimentary The Foundation 200mL (available once per stylist and while stocks last).
Winner will be chosen by an internal Mr. Smith panel, following a specific set of scoring rules relating to reel quality, product representation and final creative transformation.
The winner will be selected from all eligible entries and contacted on 11th January 2027 via via Mr. Smith's official Instagram or TikTok account, depending on what social platform the the winning asset has been published on. In case of lack of response from the winner, the prize will be redrawn within 48h from the private announcement time. Once confirmed, the winner will be announced via Mr. Smith's official Instagram account.
Travel will take place during New York Fashion Week in February 2027.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. By entering, participants grant Mr. Smith Haircare permission to share and repost submitted content across its marketing and digital channels.
